Overview
Radiology Tech – CT Tech in Rochester, New York. This travel assignment starts 09/14/2026 and runs for 17 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $3,315 to $3,387. There are no guaranteed hours. Shift is an evening schedule, Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm EST, with on-call/callback responsibilities, holidays, and occasional weekends. The role is in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Verify patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; adhere to department safety policies and procedures
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic CT imaging and ensure the correct exam is performed
- Prepare patients for scans, explain the procedure, and help them feel comfortable; insert IVs when necessary
- Position patients accurately; assist with lifting or moving patients with limited mobility using safe patient handling
- Document thoroughly in the electronic medical record (EPIC); identify images and ensure they are sent to the PACS system
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe scanning area; adhere to imaging department standards

Requirements
- NYS licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required prior to starting; completion of ARRT certification
- Injection therapy certification stated on NYS license at the time of submission, or willingness to complete during orientation
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience; Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred
- Formal training from an approved School of Radiologic Technology; ARRT certification maintained
- Proficiency with EPIC and PACS; ability to work in a hospital setting; knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment is preferred
- Ability to lift/move patients and perform safe patient handling; strong communication and teamwork skills
