Insurance Staff Position - State Farm Agent Team Member Position Overview Full time, 9 AM‑5 PM, four days a week. No weekends. State Farm Insurance Agent located in Niskayuna, NY is seeking an outgoing, career‑oriented professional to join their team. The role involves building and developing customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home, and life insurance. Responsibilities Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed. Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification. Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals. Benefits Salary plus commission/bonus. Paid time off (vacation and personal/sick days). Requirements Sales experience (outside sales, inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills. People-oriented. Self‑motivated. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to multi‑task. Personal Lines license (must be able to obtain). Life and Health license (must be able to obtain). Compensation: $31,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year. Additional Information The position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies.
