Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 200 ranked law firm with a national and international platform seeking a midlevel Finance Associate Attorney to join its Boston, MA office. This is a transactional finance role focused on secured lending, advising banks, institutional lenders, and borrowers across leveraged finance and commercial lending matters. The Opportunity You will work on secured lending transactions from structuring through closing, including drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security documentation, intercreditor arrangements, commitment papers, and related closing deliverables, while developing strong lender and borrower side judgment. Ideal Candidate Profile 3 to 6 years of law firm finance experience handling secured lending transactions Experience representing both lenders and borrowers, including banks and institutional lenders Strong drafting, editing, and negotiation experience across loan documents, security documents, intercreditor agreements, commitment papers, and closing documents Bar admission in the practicing jurisdiction, or eligibility to waive in Strong business judgment, client service mindset, initiative, and ability to work effectively within a team oriented practice Why This Opportunity Stands Out This opportunity offers consistent exposure to sophisticated finance work within a well resourced Am Law platform, with meaningful responsibility on active matters and close collaboration with experienced partners and senior associates.
