Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Night shift)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• Up to date resume demonstrating at least 2 years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU.
• 4-5 years of ICU experience preferred, minimum of 2 years required.
• Required travel experience.
• Skills checklist matching specialty.
• Driver's license with address matching demographics.
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• NURSYS Report for license verification with an active NY license and all active RN licenses.
• Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex.
• Heart experience highly preferred.
• EMR experience: EPIC.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit.
• Monitor patient condition and make critical decisions regarding patient care.
• Administer medications, manage IV lines, and perform necessary medical procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and medications.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols.

Compliance / Notes:

• RTO must be included at the time of submission.
• Scrub color: Navy.
• Floating required to all units except Behavioral and ER, unless holding.
