Registered Nurse - ICU (Travel) | Utica, NY, US This travel assignment places a Registered Nurse in an ICU unit with a busy acuity mix. Start date: 08/23/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,177 - $2,390 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 2x3 Nights (12-hour nights). Assignment type: travel - temporary. You will work in a hospital ICU setting, with responsibilities across neuro, trauma, and medical critical care. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,177 - $2,390 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 2x3 Nights (12-hour nights) Start date: 08/23/2026 Setting: ICU within a hospital; floating to other ICU units as needed Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care for high-acuity ICU patients, including ongoing monitoring, assessment, and rapid response to clinical changes Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced treatments per physician orders; manage ventilator support and CRRT/Prismaflex as assigned Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other care team members to implement and adjust care plans; coordinate post-op and neuro/trauma protocols as appropriate Document all nursing care accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and ensure timely, complete charting and handoffs Float to other ICU units as needed to support unit coverage and patient safety; adhere to unit-specific protocols and safety standards Requirements Active New York RN license; Nursys verification of all active RN licenses Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS ICU experience: minimum 2 years; 4-5 years preferred; travel ICU experience required EMR: EPIC experience requiredSpecial skills: experience with CRRT and Prismaflex; heart care experience highly preferred Ability to work in a high-acuity ICU setting; valid driver's license with address that matches demographics Benefits and Support Benefits details for this assignment are not listed; information will be provided during the offer process Availability of assignment-specific support and credentialing assistance to be discussed at offer A dedicated recruiter and ongoing travel support are available through Healthforce Healthcare LLC during the assignment process Additional support and housing options are typically discussed as part of the onboarding and offer workflow; specifics will be shared upon application Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
