Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, rotating weekends every 6 weeks with one holiday shift. Primary Responsibilities Work with a team of nurses to obtain CMS required forms. Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, facilities, and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and/or providers. Process incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations, including intake and notification. Assist the clinical staff in denials management and utilization management: faxing, scanning, and portal entries. Provide in‑person support to patients and families by addressing forms, letters, and transportation matters. Work efficiently, productively, and thoroughly in a fast‑paced, high‑volume customer service environment, both in person and telephonically. Flexibility with some early evening availability is required. Cover rotating weekend shifts every 4‑6 weeks and one holiday shift annually. Maintain a corporate casual dress code. Travel up to 10% within the hospital system. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of customer service experience. Intermediate proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s degree. Experience working within the health care industry. Experience in a hospital, physician’s office, or medical clinic setting. Clerical or administrative support background. Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and more. The hourly rate for this role ranges from $18.00 to $32.00 per hour for full‑time employment.
