HR Coordinator

Summary/Objective Human Resources Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations and projects of the HR department by managing administrative tasks and providing support on HR-related inquiries. Essential Functions Maintain employee records, documentation, and filing systems. Answer HR-related queries and requests. Provide clerical and operational support to other human resources staff. Process terminations within HR systems. Assist recruiting efforts as needed. Support onboarding and offboarding tasks. Assist with additional HR projects as needed. Other Foster and maintain a safe work environment. Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented. Organizational skills. Competencies Ethical conduct. Relationship management. Diversity and inclusion. Results-driven. Teamwork orientation. Supervisory Requirements This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job operates in a clerical, office setting. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Physical Demands The employee regularly sits for long periods of time at a desk in front of a computer screen. The employee occasionally may be required to lift, push, pull, or carry objects when filing. Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work Full-time, non-exempt position. Travel No travel is required. Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree. Two years’ experience in HR or a related role. Preferred Education and Experience Construction industry experience preferred. Working knowledge of MS Office software. Workday knowledge preferred. Viewpoint or Vista software experience a bonus. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Additional Eligibility Requirements Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.
