Job Title HVAC / Plumbing Mgr - HSC & EC Research Buildings Overview Job Description - HVAC / Plumbing Mgr - HSC & EC Research Buildings (2600246) Responsibilities Review all employee evaluations and performance documentation. Effectively manage assigned staff and budgets of the HSC & EC Research Buildings department. Responsible for daily operation of the HSC & EC Research Buildings department. Develop quality controls and improvements. Review and implement all Plant Operations Policies and Procedures. Responsible for the service and maintenance contracts for the HSC & EC Research Buildings department. Responsible for Joint Commission (TJC) compliance for all assigned areas. Qualifications Required Qualifications: An Associate’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Systems, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related technical field, and at least five (5) years of progressively responsible management experience in electrical systems, construction, maintenance, or structural systems operations. Or, in lieu of an Associate’s degree, at least ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the management, maintenance, or oversight of electrical and/or structural systems, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience maintaining a large, complex facility. Special Notes Resume/CV should be included with the online application. Location Pay for UUP full‑time positions: $4,000. Additional compensation may include generous leave, health plans, and a state pension.
