Social Media Strategist

Job Description We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Social Media Strategist. The role is part of Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated carrier. The program is merit based and offers work-from-home flexibility after initial in-person training. Responsibilities Independently develop branded Auto-Owners content for review. Curate and manage content using existing tools for all social media platforms. Suggest and monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) using existing tools to gauge platform success. Adopt social media best practices based on Auto-Owners’ standards and culture. Monitor social media platforms for both Auto-Owners and our sponsorship partners and engage with followers who leave comments. Share positive online reviews with key stakeholders and forward negative reviews to the claims team for investigation. Assist with regional philanthropic efforts. Desired Skills & Experience Ability to work collaboratively on a team. Ability to use software to construct content. Experience creating B-to-B and/or B-to-C social media content (preferred). Underwriting or claims experience helpful. Enjoys interacting with people to provide surprise and delight experiences. Adaptable at tactfully communicating with disgruntled consumers. Good at time management and providing timely responses. Competency to learn new PC tools. A bachelor’s degree is required; this requirement may be waived at the company’s discretion.
