RN Acute Care Neurosciences

Position Overview Location: UCHealth Anschutz Intp Pavilion, Aurora, Colorado. Department: Neurosciences. Work Schedule: Full Time, 72 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Day and Night Rotation. Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 per hour based on experience. This is an onsite role; no remote or hybrid options. Minimum Requirements Minimum required education: Graduated from an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years’ experience; preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Required licensure/certification: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN); Basic Life Support (BLS) or relevant life support certification required. Minimum experience: 6 months of nursing (RN) experience. Credentials Registered Nurse Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA or Red Cross; card valid at hire and renewed every 60 days. Responsibilities Provides top‑level practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Prioritizes wellness, patient perspective and evidence‑based practice. Models proficiency by precepting new staff and/or UCHealth personnel. Welcomes new knowledge in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment. Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Acute Care Direct care includes specialty Acute Care (Med‑Surg) Units with moderate to high patient acuity. AMSN’s core curriculum and specialty certification standards are included in evidence‑based care models for each unit. Clinical Educators support individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout orientation.
