This full-time remote position is primarily focused on delivering telehealth services, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your home while positively impacting clients' mental health journeys.

Work Environment\nThis position is designed for remote work, utilizing a telehealth model that bridges the gap between patients and practitioners. You will be part of a progressive team of professionals dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals experiencing eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder. Regular business hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, providing a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients' nutritional, psychological, and emotional needs concerning their eating disorders and any co-occurring mental health conditions, ensuring an accurate understanding of their unique situations. \n
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, collaborating with clients to identify specific, achievable goals that foster recovery and personal growth. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to facilitate clients' exploration of distorted beliefs related to body image, food, and self-worth. \n
- Guide clients in learning and applying healthy coping mechanisms and emotional regulation skills to effectively manage their symptoms and resist disordered eating behaviors. \n
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with our treatment team to ensure a seamless continuum of care that addresses clients' holistic needs and enhances treatment efficacy. \n
- Provide psychoeducation sessions for clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of eating disorders and fostering a nurturing environment conducive to recovery. \n
- Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment processes, client progress updates, and therapeutic interventions in compliance with all relevant legal and ethical guidelines. \n
- Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and continuous professional development activities to remain at the forefront of best practices in eating disorder treatment. \n
You will focus on supporting a diverse range of clients dealing with eating disorders. Your expertise will help clients dismantle the complex psychological factors influencing their relationships with food and body image, thereby empowering them to achieve lasting recovery.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. \n
- A current, valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Kansas. \n
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapies relevant to eating disorder treatment, specifically CBT, DBT, and ACT. \n
- A comprehensive understanding of the multifaceted nature of eating disorders and their co-occurring mental health issues. \n
- Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients, fostering strong therapeutic alliances. \n

- A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a relevant setting, specifically working with patients with eating disorders or similar mental health challenges. \n
- Experience in telehealth service delivery and familiarity with virtual therapies to enhance client engagement and treatment efficacy. \n

- The annual salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience and specialization within the field. \n
