El/la técnico(a) de IT instala y mantiene los sistemas y redes informáticas con el objetivo de lograr la máxima funcionalidad. Brinda asistencia técnica a los usuarios de computadoras y equipos tecnológicos. Resuelve problemas informáticos en persona, por teléfono o electrónicamente. Puede proporcionar asistencia con respecto al uso de hardware y software de computadoras, incluida la impresión, instalación, procesamiento de texto, correo electrónico y sistemas operativos. Mantienen las estaciones de trabajo informáticas y el software de la empresa para todos los empleados. También instalan nuevas estaciones de trabajo y se aseguran de que funcionen correctamente antes de que los nuevos empleados comiencen a trabajar.
