PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

ERCP

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified (or Truly BE) in Gastroenterology
Licenses: Active MI License (IMLC accepted with conditions)
DEA: Active DEA Certification
Certifications: Board Certified, DEA
Other Qualifications: ERCP proficiency required; Local provider preferred; NPDB self-query required.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour call coverage for Gastroenterology services, including Monday-Thursday 7am-7am and Friday 7am-7pm.
Perform ERCP procedures as required.
Manage inpatient consultations and admissions.
Coordinate with hospitalist and colorectal surgery backup.
Document all patient encounters and utilize Doc Time for clocking in/out.
