The Role: • Location: Bay City, MI • Assignment duration: 3/1/2026 - 5/31/2026 (91 days) - ongoing need for coverage through 2026 • # of Positions: 1 • Type: Travel • Specialty: Gastroenterology • Shift Type: Varied schedule. Monday 7am - Friday 7pm call. No weekend call. • Typical Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7am-7am (24-hr coverage); Friday 7am-7pm (12-hr coverage) • On Call: Monday-Thursday nights; Friday 7am-7pm (day coverage) • ERCP: Required • Hospitalist support available • GI clinic location: less than half a mile from the hospital • Small town atmosphere with waterfront amenities • Credentialing: 90 days • Willing to accept candidates who need to obtain state license: Yes (see license requirements below) • Site requires clocking in/out using Doc Time (reverse billing) - no timesheets will be approved • Weekend call: N/A Requirements: • Michigan medical license required. IMLC may be accepted when dates are 60+ days out with proof of LOQ for IMLC. • Board certified - required (willing to review) • Active DEA registration - required at time of start • Malpractice coverage - required (no exceptions) • ERCP competency - required • NPDB self-query (copy) - must be pulled within 30 days of presentation • Presentation items required: home address, home or cell number (not office), candidate email, DOB • Employee health requirements: a. Flu vaccine for 24-25 season b. Covid documentation (if 24-25 booster not received, a declination is needed) c. TB: 2-step skin test within 12 months or Quantiferon within 6 months d. TB questionnaire e. Hep B: titer with quantifiable numbers or declination f. MMR: vaccine series or titers with quantifiable numbers g. Varicella: vaccine series or titers with quantifiable numbers h.
