North America HEOR Manager

Abbott

Abbott seeks a North America HEOR Manager to develop health economics and outcomes research strategies supporting diabetes care product reimbursement. The role involves creating economic models, managing publications, and serving as a subject matter expert in market access across North America, reporting to the Senior Director of Market Access and HEOR Commercial Operations.

Responsibilities

Develop health economics and outcomes-based models to support business cases for key stakeholders
Plan economic model adaptations based on clinical study results and statistical analyses
Ensure publication of high-quality HEOR data in peer-reviewed journals and scientific presentations
Communicate study progress and results to investigators, brand teams, and internal stakeholders
Investigate reimbursement opportunities for differentiated products and track coverage decisions

Requirements

Master's or PhD in health economics, outcomes research, epidemiology, or MD
Minimum 7 years of experience in HEOR, evidence generation, or reimbursement
Understanding of US health systems and market access landscape
Excellent presentation and communication skills across cultures
Strong project management and self-directed work capabilities
Experience in medical technology or pharmaceutical industries
Knowledge of health technology assessment and global reimbursement mechanisms
