If so, this is the place to develop the solutions the world needs today to enable a better tomorrow.Lead with a team of experienced leadersTo expand our North American presence and capitalize on recent projects — such as the Ontario Line South in Toronto and the 2nd Avenue Subway in Manhattan — we are seeking a Market Director to join our Business Development Infrastructure team. In this role, you will work alongside national and international experts specializing in mass transit, water tunnels, roadway tunnels, and other critical heavy underground infrastructure projects. Focusing primarily on the West Coast (California and surrounding areas) as well as key East Coast hubs (New York and Washington, DC), you will lead our business development initiatives targeting mass transit and heavy underground infrastructure markets.Your key tasks will be to:Identify strategic clients and proposals; build and maintain a healthy pipeline ensuring regular updates of the COWI Pipeline for mass transit and underground pursuitsBuild strategic, trusted customer relationships and identify substantial business potential within the infrastructure portfolioDevelop capture planning, lead teaming efforts, and oversee proposal development for key pursuits, including mass transit projects and various tunnel infrastructureProvide oversight to proposal managers and collaborate closely with project managers and regional Market Directors across the US and CanadaDefine and implement growth initiatives aligned with corporate growth objectives for infrastructure sector expansionSet annual revenue targets for the sector and ensure an adequate pipeline is identified in partnership with senior managementSupport recruitment and retention of key technical and business development personnel alongside the VPs of EngineeringSupport overall business area development, including sales growth, professional development, and general leadershipYour skills.
