School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Palo Alto, California

Make a real difference this summer supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) in a vibrant school community near Palo Alto, CA. We are seeking two talented SLPs to serve across elementary, middle, high school, or postsecondary settings-tailored to your area of expertise and interest. This is a unique short-term assignment that allows you to focus on students' communication and language skills without the long-term commitment of a traditional role.


What You Bring:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license and ASHA CCC credentials
• Experience providing therapy in school-based settings (elementary, middle, high school, or postsecondary preferred)
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborative mindset for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
• Flexibility to adapt therapy approaches for diverse student populations
• Enthusiasm for supporting student growth and participation during summer programs

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and small-group speech and language therapy aligned with IEPs
• Assess, document, and report student progress throughout the session
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and families to enhance communication outcomes
• Maintain required records and prepare progress reports as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and student support planning when requested
• Uphold ethical, professional, and legal standards of practice

Schedule Details:

• Elementary & Middle: 6/10-7/7, 8:00-12:30, 4.5 hours/day
• High: 6/15-7/10, 8:30-3:00, 6.5 hours/day plus lunch break
• Postsecondary: 6/16-7/13, 8:30-3:00, 6.5 hours/day plus lunch break
  Holidays observed: No school on 6/19 and 7/4.
