We're looking for an analytical professional who enjoys balancing risk with opportunity. You'll evaluate commercial lending requests, uncover the details that matter, and partner with relationship managers to help clients achieve their goals while protecting the bank's portfolio. What You'll Do Analyze commercial loan requests and assess overall creditworthiness. Review financial statements, tax returns, cash flow analyses, and collateral information. Prepare comprehensive credit memorandums with clear recommendations. Identify potential risks and propose practical solutions to strengthen loan structures. Collaborate closely with Commercial Relationship Managers throughout the lending process. Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines. Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify developing trends or concerns. Present findings confidently to credit committees and senior leadership. Stay current on market conditions, industry trends, and economic factors that influence lending decisions. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field. 3+ years of commercial underwriting or credit analysis experience preferred. Strong understanding of commercial lending principles and financial analysis. Ability to interpret complex financial statements with accuracy and confidence. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. High attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and commercial loan systems.
