Job Title: Cloud FinOps Analyst with AWS

Location: Roseland, NJ (Hybrid 2-3 days onsite)

Job Type: Contract

Cloud strong knowledge experience, must
Azure experience is bonus good to have but 90% work is in AWS in this team
Cloud reporting tool Cloudability experience needed.

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory Skills 10+ years relevant client experience in similar technology (does not include training period), Including at least 5 years of on-site client experience in similar technology and domain - Min Education - Bachelor's degree in technology, Masters preferred

Desired Skills Overview:
Our Cloud FinOps team at Client drives our centralized cloud spend management processes with the goal of lowering the unit cost to deliver the highest business value of using the public cloud. This includes developing data driven insights to understand cloud usage and cost, provide solutions for application teams to make decisions to optimize cloud performance, and influence cloud efficiency.

What You Will Do:
• Collaborate with the FinOps team to deliver actionable cost savings recommendations
• Utilize Apptio Cloudability tool and AWS Console to identify savings opportunities
• Build communication channels to share and track the savings of each savings opportunity recommendation developed by the FinOps team
• Develop AWS (and Azure equivalent) Reserved Instances (RI) recommendations and communicate with team members to gather feedback and dispositions; Exp
• Enable timely data-driven decision making
• Create financial accountability through collaboration between application teams and the FinOps team
• Identifies cost savings opportunities to eliminate waste, optimize systems and automate system changes

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience working with AWS/ Azure or Oracle cloud computing data
• 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud financial management
• Experience with Apptio Cloudability (or equivalent) FinOps tool
• Hands-on practical experience delivering FinOps savings in a cloud environment
• Bonus Points - Experience with Microsoft PowerBI dashboard development
