Doorman Full Time New York, NY, US Salary Range: $21.00 To $22.00 Annually Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Doorman to join our team. The Door Person plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises while providing excellent customer service to guests and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage various situations effectively, maintain a welcoming atmosphere, and uphold the highest standards of security. Responsibilities Monitor entry and exit points to ensure the safety of all guests and staff. Greet guests warmly and assist with any inquiries or concerns they may have. Conduct regular surveillance of the premises Implement conflict management strategies to de-escalate potential issues with guests or visitors. Maintain a visible presence to deter theft and ensure loss prevention. Collaborate with law enforcement when required, ensuring proper protocols are followed during incidents. Keep detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and any noteworthy occurrences. WORK HOURS: 11am - 7:30pm and/or 2:30pm - 11:15pm, including weekends and holidays. Skills Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively. Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to protect property and assets.
