You’ll deliver engaging prevention programs to students. You’ll collaborate with a passionate prevention education team and become a trusted partner to school staff.

Part-time educators typically deliver 12–25 presentations per week (based on your availability and goals set with your supervisor).

You will:

• Lead classroom presentations and school programs
• Build positive relationships with school partners
• Work independently while being supported by a strong team
• Document your work to support our mission and funding
• Participate in occasional special events like health fairs or parent nights

You might be a great fit if you:

• Love working with kids and teens (high school and middle school experience is crucial)
• Are comfortable speaking in front of groups
• Are organized, reliable, and flexible
• Have a strong work ethic and a heart for prevention and education
• Enjoy being out in the community rather than behind a desk
• Want part-time hours that align with the school calendar

• Associate degree or higher in education, psychology, social work, human services, or related field
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (travel within our 7 county region is required)
• Basic computer skills (email, Word, Teams, data entry)
• Willingness to obtain Missouri Prevention Specialist certification within 6–12 months (we help you!)

Public speaking, teaching, youth work, or community experience is a plus — but passion and presence matter most.
