Make an impact in a supportive school community by bringing your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician to the 2026-2027 academic year! This fulfilling, full-time contract role focuses on supporting an elementary-aged student with the guidance of a supervising BCBA. Grow your skills while contributing meaningfully to a positive educational environment.
The assignment runs immediately through June 11, 2027, aligning with school hours (8:35am–3:05pm; 1:51pm release on Wednesdays). You’ll play an essential part in delivering individualized behavioral support to a 3rd-grade female student within the school setting.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Previous experience in school-based ABA or working with children on the autism spectrum highly desirable
- Team-oriented, with excellent communication skills for collaborating with BCBAs, school staff, and families
- Enthusiasm for creating an inclusive and productive classroom atmosphere
- Eagerness to learn and grow with ongoing BCBA supervision (provided)
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly implement behavior intervention plans and data collection as designed by a supervising BCBA
- Provide 1:1 behavioral and academic support to a designated student throughout the school day
- Proactively communicate with the supervising BCBA to ensure consistency and best practices
- Contribute to progress monitoring, team meetings, and the continuous improvement process
- Help foster a positive learning experience for the student and collaborate with staff to promote generalization of skills
