We're looking for a Marketing Assistant in Washington, DC to support promotional projects, coordinate marketing activities, and help ensure campaigns are prepared and delivered efficiently.

You'll work with colleagues across the business to organize resources, gather information, prepare marketing materials, and keep projects moving toward their deadlines. This role offers a practical way to develop your marketing knowledge while gaining experience in campaign coordination, communications, and brand promotion.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist with preparing promotional materials, presentations, and marketing documents.
• Coordinate campaign schedules, project timelines, and upcoming activities.
• Research competitors, market developments, and potential customer interests.
• Help organize promotional events and brand awareness initiatives.
• Support content preparation for social media, email, and other marketing channels.
• Maintain campaign records, contact lists, and marketing resources.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and complete project requirements.
• Review marketing materials for accuracy, consistency, and presentation.
• Help compile campaign updates, activity summaries, and basic performance reports.
• Track outstanding tasks and follow up on deadlines.
• Assist with preparing meeting notes, project briefs, and internal communications.
• Contribute ideas to improve promotional activities and audience engagement.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in someone who is proactive, communicates clearly, and enjoys combining creative thinking with practical organization.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in marketing, advertising, promotions, or brand development.
• Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, presentations, and standard office software.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work toward deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and marketing processes.
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a team.
• Previous experience in marketing, sales, retail, customer service, events, or administration is beneficial.

Training will be provided on internal systems, campaign processes, and daily responsibilities.
