Warehouse Supervisor

Position Summary: Responsible for the daily supervision of all shipping and receiving related activities, including inventory and material movements, while coordinating the daily workflow to meet deadlines and department objectives. The supervisor will work directly with our Warehouse Manager to ensure compliance on all documented procedures, Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reporting, and service commitments.

Location: Bethlehem, PA

Work Model: Onsite position with flexibility to work across both second and third shift schedules.

How You'll Impact Results:

• Coordinate the daily scheduling of shipping and receiving personnel.
• Oversee creation and application of pallet/carton labels, maintaining labeling standards, printers, quality and traceability, with a focus on the entire shipping process, from packaging and labeling to final dispatch.
• Coach and train team on SOPs, loading procedures, equipment operation and Safety.
• Assist the Warehouse manager with scrap processing and pickups scheduling.
• Support the manufacturing and procurement team with material complaint processes, traceability, and resolution.
• Enforce OSHA and facility safety rules; conduct safety talks and incident investigations.
• Manage and schedule equipment repairs for all forklifts, pallet jacks, dock equipment and label printers.
• Encourages associate self-development activities and provides opportunities and accommodations for staff to enhance their skills.
• Supports Just Born activities both internally and within the community in a manner that is consistent with Just Born's corporate values and culture.
• Responsible for the day-to-day communications with the Warehouse Manager and Food Liner drivers to ensure acceptable service standards and load compliance.
• Work directly with Operations' planning team to coordinate the finished goods inventory necessary to fill out existing customer orders. Ensure that service level goals are met or exceeded.
• Responsible for monitoring and for making process improvement recommendations regarding all warehouse and logistics operations.
• Work in a team environment to ensure the warehouse operations and Service team functions as a unit. Provide support and encouragement to managers and co-workers.
• Provide constructive feedback to co-workers and managers that will ensure the success of Company strategies and initiatives.

Your Qualifications That Will Ensure Success:

• • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years' experience in Warehouse, Distribution, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain required.
  • 1+ years in a leadership role as a Warehouse Supervisor, Distribution Supervisor, Shipping Supervisor, or similar required.
  • Prior experience with union interaction preferred.
  • Prior experience in a regulated environment preferred.
  • Possesses the following skills and attributes: management skills; leadership qualities; planning & execution; training, development & coaching; effective communication (verbal and written); teamwork; and customer focus
  • Computer proficiency with PC-based systems and required software. Comfortable learning and using mobile and network technology and SAP as needed. General office equipment.
  • Deep understanding of shipping, receiving and inventory control.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing and warehouse best safety practices.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
