As the Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will assist our purchasing team in maintaining a complete and systematic set of records of business transactions for the assigned business unit within the exciting Sports & Entertainment industry.This is an hourly role, on-site five days a week, with some weekend availability required.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate daily sales and reporting worksheetsProcess invoices for event/event preparation laborPerform variance analysis to ensure accurate financial dataTroubleshoot any mistakes in data entry or financial reportingEnsure accurate completion of responsibilities related to month end activitiesMaintain, analyze, and report daily labor costs to support budgetary planning and decision makingSummarize details in separate ledgers or computer files to maintain accurate, organized recordsTransfer data to the general ledger and perform reconciliations to ensure accounts are balancedCompile records to show statistics, such as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss statements, and other pertinent items.Perform aging review of invoices to ensure deadlines are metAssist in resolving and outstanding invoices/billing activitiesSupport billing activities, such as reaching out to suppliers/vendors and following upProvide reconciliation support and assist with the production of AP financial reportsReview incoming invoices, ensuring there is approval before paymentVerify, allocate, and post details of business transactions to subsidiary accounts from documents such as sales slips, invoices, receipts, and computer teract with suppliers/vendors in a professional and courteous mannerResolve supplier and vendor complaints promptly and effectivelyCommunicate feedback to supervisors/managersPerforming other duties as assignedSkills and Experience:Proficiency in Excel and other data entry softwareGeneral knowledge of accounting is requiredExperience with maintaining high-volume workbooks.Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skillsDemonstrated desire for accuracy and organization in daily duties.Ability to meet strict deadlinesMust be able to read, write, and communicate in English.Ability to support company initiatives while collaborating with all departmentsApply to Levy today!Levy is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
