Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 Job - Norwalk, CT
Are you a CDL-A driver searching for an OTR opportunity that provides weekly home time and minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes across the Northeast with excellent equipment and competitive compensation. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while maintaining a consistent schedule that gets you home every week.
Home Time: Home every week for a 34-hour reset. Our OTR routes are designed to provide steady miles while ensuring you have regular time for family and personal commitments.
Equipment: Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling. You can take your assigned truck and trailer home as long as there is safe parking available.
No Touch Freight: We primarily transport dry van freight, with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations. This means minimal physical work required, enabling you to concentrate on driving and maximizing your efficiency.
Pay and Miles: Drivers typically earn between $1,000 and $1,450 weekly, influenced by mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay as per customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area: Our routes extend across the Northeast from Maine to Virginia, with all tolls covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits: Receive medical, dental, and vision insurance starting the month after 60 days of employment. We also provide $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days, with age restrictions.
