As a Security Officer Visitor Checkpoint in Frankfort, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and vendors. This role combines visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication to help address security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Monitor access control points, check credentials for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, entry points, shipping and receiving areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Observe inbound and outbound traffic, report unusual activity, and support compliance with site rules for visitor management, key control, and/or access documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
