Software Engineer - Resiliency Tech

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, plus at least 3 years of applied experience
• Practical experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Hands-on experience with Java, React, and the Spring framework
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using one or more modern programming languages and database query languages
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for tasks such as coding, test creation, troubleshooting, or documentation, with the ability to assess, validate, and refine generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and security and resiliency expectations; ability to guide peers in safe and effective use
• General knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Solid understanding of agile practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
• Preferred: Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
• Preferred: Exposure to cloud technologies
• Preferred: Exposure to AI-assisted development

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions, using sound judgment to address technical challenges beyond routine approaches
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that operate synchronously with relevant systems
• Use enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity on complex work; validate outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding practices, and share reusable learnings with the team
• Apply Software Development Life Cycle tools, including authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value of automation
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure software development meets design constraints
• Analyze and visualize large, diverse data sets, producing reports that support continual improvement of applications and systems
• Identify hidden issues and patterns in data and use those insights to improve coding practices and system architecture
