Experienced Supply Chain RecoveryCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services is looking for a Supply Base Management (Level 3) to join the Supply Chain Recovery team.In this role, you will develop and execute robust Recovery Plans in partnership with our suppliers and internal teammates. The priority and objectives are to drive improved supplier performance, achieving measurable targets. You will collaborate cross functionally with Boeing teammates across Business Units including Engineering, Procurement, Planning Quality, Supply Chain functional experts and Boeing leadership. Your efforts will achieve BGS goals of driving Supply Chain Stability.The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in project leadership, strong relationship management skills, procurement skills, problem solving and the strong ability drive action. Position Responsibilities:Build and nurture relationship with Suppliers at all LevelsPartner with supplier to develop and lead Supplier Recovery Roadmap and Projects – Ensuring progress to plan & actionsCoordinate, Collaborate and Present Recovery Project Plans, Status, Actions and Help Needed with Supply Chain teams & Key StakeholdersCollaborate and develop sense of ownership with internal teams such as Supplier Management, Planning, Engineering, Supplier Quality and Global Field Ops to actively engage on recovery efforts with supplierLeads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programsAnalyzes supplier and internal business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunitiesStrong communication skills, collaboration, and customer focus are critical to be successful in the roleTravel requirement: 50-75% - minimum twice monthlyBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):4+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer, Supplier Program Manager, Supply Chain Management Analyst/Item Manager, or Supply Base Manage4+ years of experience managing supplier relationships4+ years of experience applying risk management and mitigation principles4+ years of project management4+ years cross functional experienceStrong communication and relational skillsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Forecasting, asset mgmt. and collaborative planningExperience developing and managing strong relationships with partners (internal & external)Experience working with suppliers and managing a supply base in a dynamic environment with frequent expedited procurement demandsExperience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environmentExperience implementing process and/or strategy improvements and an applied understanding of Lean practicesBuild effective briefingsCollaborating respectfullyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to drive results.Experience in supply chain capacity planningEducation: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance, Business or a related fieldConflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Credit Check: This position will require a credit check.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Total Rewards & Pay Transparency:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
