Registered Nurse Emergency Room

$1534.08/week - Job Summary: The Registered Staff Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment. The role involves assessing, planning, and delivering patient-centered care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities: Perform thorough assessments, develop diagnoses, and create individualized care plans for emergency patients. Implement nursing interventions while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care. Delegate tasks appropriately to other healthcare providers and supervise nursing staff. Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic). Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical standards and protocols. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of ER experience in a Level I Trauma center required. At least 1 year of travel nursing experience preferred. Current BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required. Valid state license to practice as a registered nurse in Minnesota. Demonstrated experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation and all patient populations. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work in high-pressure settings.
