General Description The foreman supervises field operations of a grading crew. They will also engage in the trade work performed by the crew. For this position we are looking for full crews, including operators and laborers. Key Duties Knowledgeable in the areas of excavation and grading Directly supervises grading crew, reporting to Superintendent Operates and supervises the operation of heavy equipment on project sites Reads, understands, and interprets drawings and specifications Provides reports on time and materials Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met Use of heavy equipment and supervision of the use of heavy equipment Flexibility with schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes.
