A confidential Florida plaintiff-side litigation firm is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney to support a busy personal injury and medical malpractice docket. This role offers hands-on litigation work from case inception through resolution, with meaningful opportunities to take ownership of assignments, sharpen advocacy skills, and contribute to high-stakes matters without a billable-hour requirement.

THE ROLE

• Manage litigation tasks across the full case lifecycle, from intake and pleadings through settlement or trial readiness

• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motion practice where appropriate

• Handle discovery strategy and execution, including written discovery and document review

• Prepare for and take depositions (parties, witnesses, and, where applicable, experts)

• Prepare for and participate in hearings and mediations

• Collaborate on case strategy, damages development, and negotiation planning

• Support trial preparation as matters progress toward trial

LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

Location:

Palm Beach County area, Florida

Schedule:

On-site initially (during onboarding and training), then hybrid with 3 days per week in office

Compensation:

Base salary range: $90,000 to $110,000

REQUIREMENTS

• 2 to 6 years of litigation experience

• Florida Bar admission in good standing

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school

• Experience working cases through key litigation stages, including case management, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and mediation

• Strong legal research and writing skills, including drafting substantive motions

• Strong analytical skills and ability to learn complex subject matter quickly

• Strong academic performance

• Participation in mock trial, moot court, law review, or similar activities

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

• Medical malpractice experience

• Trial experience or meaningful trial preparation experience

• Experience taking substantive depositions (beyond defending depositions)

• Clerkship experience

• Ability to provide writing samples or deposition transcripts showing substantive work

• Uncapped bonus structure, with attorneys receiving a percentage of matters they work on that resolve
