Staff Accountant with AP
Financial Additions
Job Description Financial Additions is searching for a Staff Accountant with Accounts Payable and oil & gas experience. This is an onsite position located in the uptown area of Dallas, but a few days each month can be remote. This is a permanent role (not contract!) and they are eager to hire! Responsibilities include: Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close duties Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation. Review bank and general ledger account reconciliations. Review vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals. Manage vendor relationships, vendor master files, and invoice discrepancies. Coordinate weekly ACH, wire, and check payment runs. Monitor AP aging and ensure timely payments while taking advantage of available discounts. Requirements include: 2+ years in Staff Accountant position with Accounts Payable duties Oil & gas industry experience Experience with ERP system and solid Excel skills Excellent organizational, and communication skills.
