Job Summary: We are seeking a senior SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant to support a large-scale, complex SAP S/4HANA implementation for a federal client. The consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing the SAP PM solution to manage the maintenance of naval assets, including ships, aircraft, and shore facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with client maintenance and engineering stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into a robust, efficient, and integrated maintenance management solution within SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead client workshops to gather and analyze business requirements for corrective, preventive, and condition-based maintenance processes.
• Design and configure the SAP PM module, including technical objects such as functional locations and equipment, maintenance notifications, work orders, and maintenance plans.
• Ensure integration of the SAP PM solution with other SAP modules, including Materials Management (MM), Finance (FICO), and Project Systems (PS).
• Develop detailed functional specifications for customizations, reports, and interfaces required to support client-specific maintenance operations.
• Oversee unit and integration testing for the PM module, manage defect resolution, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support data migration activities for maintenance master data.
• Provide post-go-live support to ensure a smooth transition and effective system adoption.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to coordinate solution design and integration requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
• Experience with at least two full-cycle SAP implementations.
• Strong functional expertise in SAP PM configuration and maintenance management processes.
• Experience with maintenance notifications, work orders, equipment, functional locations, and maintenance plans.
• Strong understanding of SAP module integration, particularly MM, FICO, and PS.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing consulting skills.
• Ability to work effectively within large, integrated project teams.
• Proven ability to advise clients on maintenance best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Asset Management.
• Experience supporting maintenance processes in asset-intensive industries, such as defense, utilities, or oil and gas.
• Prior DoD implementation experience.
• Experience supporting naval or other federal asset maintenance operations.
• Prior Navy, Department of Defense (DoD), or federal experience is highly preferred.
