Technical Accountant for AI Model Training

Role Overview
Translate real technical accounting and SEC reporting work into structured, high quality training data that teaches AI systems to reason through complex ASC judgments. This role focuses on converting practical deliverables into clear scenarios and evaluations so AI can reach standards accurate, defensible conclusions.
Key Responsibilities- Design realistic scenarios derived from your work, including technical accounting memos, technical accounting schedules, SEC filings such as 10-K and 10-Q, footnotes and disclosures, and examples that apply new or complex ASC guidance to transactions.
- Review and compare AI generated technical outputs for correctness against relevant accounting standards, confirming conclusions are standards accurate and supported.
- Provide concise, written feedback to improve how AI systems reason about technical accounting issues.
- Collaborate asynchronously with the research team to refine prompts, scenario structure, and evaluation criteria.
- Experience in technical accounting and SEC reporting from Big 4 public accounting or public company technical accounting roles.
- Hands on, deep exposure to ASC 606 revenue, ASC 842 leases, ASC 718 stock based compensation, and ASC 805 business combinations, demonstrating actual technical accounting depth rather than general audit experience.
- CPA designation.
- Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong written communication skills and high attention to detail.
Remote engagement, hourly employment type. Collaboration is primarily asynchronous with a research team.
CompensationPay range: 80 - 120 hourly.
EligibilityCandidates should have the technical accounting and SEC reporting background described above. CPA and relevant public accounting or public company experience are required as stated in Qualifications.
