Job Description

We are seeking experienced Senior Civil Engineers to support municipalities and public-sector organizations across Eastern Washington.

This is a broad civil engineering opportunity for professionals who have experience planning, designing, managing, or delivering public infrastructure and capital improvement projects.

The strongest candidates will bring solid civil engineering fundamentals, sound project judgment, and the ability to work effectively with public agencies, consultants, contractors, utilities, developers, and community stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n

\n
• Lead or support public infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction and closeout.
\n
• Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, estimates, reports, and contract documents.
\n
• Manage project schedules, budgets, permitting, procurement, and construction administration.
\n
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, utilities, agencies, developers, and internal project teams.
\n
• Review technical studies, design submittals, infrastructure assessments, and engineering reports.
\n
• Support Capital Improvement Programs and long-range infrastructure planning.
\n
• Participate in development review, utility coordination, and infrastructure planning.
\n
• Help identify practical solutions to infrastructure, capacity, growth, and construction challenges.
\n
• Ensure projects meet applicable engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and public-agency expectations.
\n
• Provide technical guidance to engineering staff and project teams.
\n
• Support asset management, replacement planning, and long-term capital investment strategies.
\n

Core Qualifications

\n

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
\n
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
\n
• Ability to obtain Washington State PE registration through reciprocity if not already licensed in Washington.
\n
• Experience supporting civil engineering, infrastructure, utility, transportation, public works, or related projects.
\n
• Ability to manage or contribute to multiple engineering priorities.
\n
• Strong technical, organizational, written, and communication skills.
\n

Candidates licensed in another state are encouraged to apply if they are eligible for Washington State PE reciprocity.
