Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

The Inpatient Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care, including assessments, treatments, medication administration, and diagnostic studies, aligned with scope of practice and unit standards. Key Responsibilities Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families throughout their care journey. Develop, coordinate, and implement individualized care plans, including patient and family education and discharge planning. Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and adjust care based on patient responses. Collaborate proactively with physicians, ancillary staff, and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs. Problem-solve and troubleshoot equipment issues, ensuring safe and effective care delivery. Participate in evidence-based practice decision-making and unit safety initiatives. Contribute to quality improvement, safety programs, and organizational metrics. Promote compassionate, patient-centered interactions to enhance patient satisfaction. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to a dynamic clinical environment. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.
