We put our customers first - exemplified by our mission: "We Protect Those Who Protect Us®."We are seeking a Systems Engineer with a strong SW background to support the development of automated Hardware-in-the-Loop test capability for mission-critical advance compact electronic systems. This role involves automated verification, system-level testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high reliability and performance. This is a fully onsite position at BAE System's Canal Street facility. Responsibilities include:Liaison with a partner organization to leverage an existing automated test environmentConfigure and maintain test environments in the target facilityWork with Systems Engineers and Electronic Warfare SMEs to automate existing procedures and analysisPerform verification and validation of software and hardware components.Develop and maintain automated test scripts.Collaborate with Software Engineering team to leverage new automated test environment into CI/CD pipelinesBecause of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time Required Education, Experience, & SkillsBachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or math field, with 2+ years of experienceActive SECRET security clearanceProgramming skills in C/C++ or Python or MATLAB.Capable of learning/using version control systems (Git, Gitlab)Comfortable working in an engineering lab environment and being hands on with test instrumentationExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Preferred Education, Experience, & SkillsExperience with the Ruby programming languageFamiliarity with RF Test Equipment and RF measurement techniquesKnowledge of automated testing frameworksSignal processing and data acquisition techniquesPay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $79365 - $134921 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
