Now Hiring: Personal Injury Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Operations Supervisor to join our growing team in Draper, Utah. This is a full-time, in-office leadership position for a hands-on operations professional with strong, proven personal injury experience.

Personal injury experience is REQUIRED for this position. Candidates without direct personal injury experience will not be considered. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a personal injury law firm and understand the day-to-day operations of a PI practice, including case management, intake, case workflow, staff performance, and the overall progression of personal injury cases.

This role will oversee day-to-day personal injury operations, supervise teams, improve processes, develop efficient systems, establish performance standards, and work closely with attorneys and firm leadership to support the firm's growth.

Salary

$80,000–$110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the firm's day-to-day personal injury operations and ensure case-related business functions run efficiently.
  
• Supervise and support case managers, intake staff, and other team members working on personal injury cases.
  
• Develop, implement, and improve operational processes and procedures related to personal injury case handling and firm workflow.
  
• Establish performance standards, KPIs, and accountability measures for operations staff.
  
• Monitor case flow, team performance, and caseload metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  
• Work closely with attorneys and firm leadership to support strategic initiatives and case outcomes.
  
• Identify operational bottlenecks throughout the personal injury case lifecycle and develop effective solutions.
  
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures and ensure they are consistently followed.
  
• Analyze operational data and case performance metrics to support business decisions.
  
• Assist with staffing, onboarding, training, and employee development for operations and support staff.
  
• Improve communication and collaboration between intake, case management, and attorney teams.
  
• Oversee firm projects and initiatives from planning through completion.
  
• Help manage resources, budgets, and operational priorities.
  
• Promote a positive, productive, and accountable firm culture.
  
• Ensure staff have the tools, resources, and support needed to effectively manage personal injury cases.
  
• Travel as needed to support firm operations, employees, and business initiatives.
  
• Provide regular operational updates and recommendations to firm leadership.
  

Required Qualifications

The following requirements are mandatory:

• 5+ years of direct personal injury experience.
  
• Previous experience working in a personal injury law firm or personal injury practice is REQUIRED.
  
• Strong understanding of personal injury case management and the overall PI case lifecycle.
  
• Experience overseeing personal injury case management, intake, or other PI-related operations.
  
• Proven experience managing teams and overseeing day-to-day operations.
  
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  
• Demonstrated experience improving processes and operational efficiency.
  
• Experience establishing, monitoring, and managing KPIs or performance metrics.
  
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced personal injury environment.
  
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and business/case management software.
  
• Must be able to work full-time in office in Draper, Utah.
  
• Must be willing and able to travel as needed.
  

Please note: General operations, management, or legal experience without personal injury experience does not meet the requirements for this position. Direct personal injury experience is required.

• Experience leading operations within a growing personal injury law firm.
  
• Experience managing multiple personal injury departments, teams, or case pods.
  
• Experience overseeing case managers, intake teams, records teams, or other PI support staff.
  
• Experience with process improvement and organizational development.
  
• Experience implementing new technology, systems, or workflows, including case management platforms.
  
• Experience managing both in-office and remote employees.
  
• Experience developing and implementing SOPs and performance standards within a personal injury practice.

Important Requirement

Personal injury experience is REQUIRED. This is not a general operations position. We are specifically looking for a leader who has direct experience working in personal injury and understands PI case management, workflows, staff operations, and the day-to-day functions of a personal injury law firm. Candidates without direct personal injury experience will not be considered.
