The Opportunity
We are collaborating with multiple companies in Norton Shores seeking experienced Bookkeeper / Office Managers. Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and vendor payments.
- Manage payroll processing, including timecard collection and submission to external payroll provider.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Oversee general office operations, including ordering supplies and maintaining office equipment.
- Support HR functions, such as new hire onboarding and maintaining employee records.
- Assist with inventory tracking and data entry related to production materials.
- Generate basic financial reports and assist with budget tracking.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with employees, vendors, and clients.
- Experience with office management tasks, including record keeping, supply management, and administrative support.
- Understanding of basic manufacturing processes and inventory management principles.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Familiarity with manufacturing inventory management principles
- Experience with payroll processing software (e.g., ADP, Paychex)
- Ability to assist with general HR tasks (onboarding, record keeping)
