Customer Marketing Manager, SMB

For our client, we are seeking a Customer Marketing Manager SMB to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a technology-driven environment. Location: San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $227,000 – $252,000 annually. Responsibilities Identify high-potential SMB customers and effective use cases demonstrating AI adoption and business value Develop customer stories, quotes, and proof points for various formats including web and webinars Create processes to source, approve, and refresh customer proof materials effectively Establish and manage an SMB advocate community storytelling program for showcasing customer workflows Coordinate with multiple teams to deliver high-quality customer-facing assets Track and analyze performance metrics of SMB customer proof across channels and formats Qualifications 7+ years of experience in customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, content marketing, product marketing, or SMB/B2B marketing Experience marketing to SMB audiences, with a focus on translating customer outcomes into practical proof Ability to manage high volumes of work while maintaining quality and attention to detail Strong writing and editing skills for clear and quick packaging of customer proof Excellent campaign execution and cross-functional project management capabilities Comfortable using data and qualitative insights to prioritize customer proof initiatives Benefits Opportunity to work in a creative and innovative environment Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance customer storytelling Engagement in high-impact projects related to AI and customer advocacy Participation in the vibrant SMB brand community through storytelling initiatives Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
