IT Support Specialist

ESU Farm is a leading importer, exporter, and distributor of fresh produce from around the world. We specialize in citrus, pomegranates, grapes, garlic, and other high-quality products supplied to customers throughout the United States. As our company grows, we are improving and organising our IT systems, including computers, employee accounts, company devices, security access, and cloud-based management tools. We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and interested in technology. You do not need to know everything on your first day. We will provide training on our systems and procedures. What You’ll Do Employee IT Support Help employees with basic IT issues involving computers, accounts, printers, software, and internet connections. Set up computers and accounts for new employees. Collect and reset devices when employees leave the company. Keep clear records of IT requests and completed work. Report more complicated issues to the appropriate team member or outside vendor. Computers and Company Equipment Help set up and manage Windows PCs and Mac computers. Assist with software installations, system updates, and device settings. Help the company move toward cloud-based device and account management. Maintain accurate records of company computers, phones, and other IT equipment. Label equipment and track who each device is assigned to. Help manage software licenses and renewal dates. Use tools such as Microsoft Intune and Jamf. Training will be provided. Security and Building Access Issue and collect employee ID cards and building-access cards. Add, update, and remove employee access permissions. Check that security and access-control equipment is working properly. Report problems and assist with vendor service requests. Follow company procedures when handling security-related information. Documentation and General Support Keep IT records and system information organized and up to date. Document technical issues and how they were resolved. Assist with employee cybersecurity and security-awareness training. Support other IT projects as needed. What We’re Looking For An interest in computers, technology, and problem-solving. Basic familiarity with Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, or other workplace software. Good organization and attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and document completed work. A responsible attitude when handling confidential company and employee information. A formal IT degree is not required . Relevant experience may come from school, internships, part-time work, personal projects, certifications, or helping others with computers and technology. Helpful, but Not Required Previous IT support or help-desk experience. Experience setting up computers, accounts, printers, or software. Familiarity with both Windows and Mac computers. Experience managing equipment, inventory, or company records. IT certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco.
