Schedule: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Location: Stowe, VT

Availability: Must be available to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Job Summary

Adecco is hiring Entry-Level Line Cooks for a hospitality client in Stowe, VT. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain culinary experience while working as part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.

• Assist with daily food preparation, including chopping, slicing, portioning, and labeling ingredients.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned workstations and kitchen areas.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.

• Properly store and rotate food products using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.

• Assist with receiving and storing food and supply deliveries.

• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.

• Support banquet, catering, and special event functions as needed.

• Communicate product shortages, equipment issues, and quality concerns to supervisors.

• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous kitchen, food service, or culinary experience preferred but not required.

• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.

• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
