Corporate Attorney - Healthcare Law Experience

Schenck, Price, Smith & King, LLP is seeking an associate with 3-7 years’ experience in Healthcare Law.

Responsibilities:

- Provide counsel on fraud and abuse, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

- Serve as lead attorney on health care mergers and acquisitions, including drafting and negotiation of transaction documents.

- Manage reimbursement matters, including billing audit and reimbursement dispute work.

- Examine and negotiate managed care contracts.

- Address medical staff issues, providing guidance and support, as needed.

- Navigate state and federal regulatory matters for healthcare providers, including professional licensing board matters and compliance investigations.

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

- Member in good standing of the New Jersey Bar

- A minimum of 3-7 years’ experience in healthcare law.

- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and laws.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and calm.

The annualized salary range for this position is $130,000-$170,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
