The ideal candidate will have substantial experience representing commercial landlords, owners, developers, and other real estate clients in a broad range of disputes in New York state and federal courts. Competitive salary Excellent benefits package Collaborative, friendly environment Flexible work schedule Generous PTO Job Details The successful candidate will have hands‑on experience in all phases of litigation, including: Drafting, arguing, and responding to dispositive and non‑dispositive motions Taking and defending depositions Managing all aspects of discovery, including document production, e‑discovery, and discovery disputes Preparing witnesses for depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitrations Participating in trials, evidentiary hearings, and arbitrations Negotiating settlements and developing practical, business‑oriented resolutions for clients Handling matters involving commercial landlord‑tenant disputes, lease interpretation and enforcement, contract disputes, property ownership and title issues, construction‑related disputes, and other complex real estate litigation matters Qualified candidates should possess: Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills Strong knowledge of New York civil practice and procedure Experience managing cases independently while working collaboratively within a team Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills The ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters in a fast‑paced environment Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
