Principal Full-Stack Developer

We are partnering with a leading financial services organization to hire a Principal Full-Stack Developer to drive the design and delivery of a next-generation structured products trading platform UI. This is a highly visible role requiring both hands‑on engineering expertise and technical leadership within a complex, enterprise environment. You will play a critical role in shaping modern front‑end architecture, guiding engineering teams, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver high‑quality, scalable software solutions. Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) Salary: $180,000 – $200,000 base Employment Type: Full‑time / Direct Hire Key Responsibilities Lead the design, architecture, and development of a structured products trading UI using modern web technologies. Own the end-to-end delivery of engineering solutions, ensuring high quality and timely execution. Act as a hands-on engineer and architect , contributing directly to development while guiding technical decisions. Design, document, and plan technical solutions for production‑ready software. Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering teams, product stakeholders, and business partners. Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships , acting as a trusted technical advisor. Drive best practices in software engineering, scalability, and performance optimization . Mentor team members and serve as a technical role model across projects.
