Territory Sales Executive – Specialty Diagnostics
Location: Raleigh, NC - Multiple U.S. Territories

An innovative healthcare organization is expanding its commercial team to drive the continued adoption of a proprietary diagnostic technology that enables physicians to make more informed clinical decisions that will directly save lives through early cancer diagnosis. Position Summary
The Territory Sales Executive is responsible for driving adoption and utilization of a new specialized diagnostic solution within an assigned geography. This individual will build relationships with healthcare providers, health systems, and key accounts while serving as the primary commercial contact in the territory.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve sales objectives.
- Educate healthcare professionals on the clinical value and appropriate use of this new proprietary diagnostic technology.
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospital systems, integrated delivery networks, and targeted community accounts.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while supporting existing customers.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure successful customer onboarding and ongoing account support.
- Utilize CRM tools to document activities and manage opportunities.
- Participate in territory planning, conferences, and educational programs.
- Serve as a trusted resource to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience in the pulmonary and/or oncology sectors is highly preferred.
- Minimum of three years of successful healthcare, diagnostics, medical device, or pharmaceutical sales experience within the last 5 years.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Experience calling on physician offices, hospitals, health systems, or specialty practices preferred.
- Existing healthcare relationships are a plus.
- Experience working with integrated delivery networks, academic institutions, or government healthcare systems is desirable.
