Job Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst in NJ.

Position type: Contract to Hire

Duration: 6+ Months

Job responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology solutions

Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact and maintain project / program momentum

Utilize technical fluency to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and platforms for implementation

Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project and program lifecycle

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, cyber risk controls and business stakeholders, to define program scope, manage dependencies, and remove blockers issues

Contribute to creation of executive-level reporting and status updates, providing clear visibility into risks, progress, path-to-green and also validation of reports created by central teams

Champion the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team

Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience on infrastructure management, data center optimization, technical modernization and technical lifecycle management. Public cloud (AWS) a plus

Advanced proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools such as Excel and PowerPoint

Proven track record of applying analytical reasoning and advanced problem-solving techniques to decompose business, technical and operational objectives into actionable tasks and deliverables

Expert stakeholder management skill, demonstrated by building productive relationships, managing expectations, and driving alignment across cross-functional teams

7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization

Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients

Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to act as liaison across multiple technology and functional teams.

Team player mentality and a positive "can do" attitude with the ability to effectively interact with a wide variety of internal groups and clients to accomplish common goals.

A drive for results, and ability to perform well under pressure and against tight deadlines

Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning, technical fluency and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities

Experience in software development and technology lifecycles.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Working in financial services firm or banking preferred.

Experience in project execution and project management (PMP or project management certification)

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*:$66/Hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidates education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
