Located in Port Richey, FL Salary: $16-$18 per Hour Express Employment Professionals is hiring General Laborers for a short-term weekend assignment with a well-established company in the utility and infrastructure industry. If you're dependable, enjoy hands-on work, and have a positive attitude, we'd love to hear from you! Job Location: New Port Richey, FL Schedule : Saturdays only for the next 3 weeks (Sunday work may be available if needed)Shift : Start time is 7:00 AM; shifts are typically 8-10 hours Responsibilities
- Degrease and clean 1' thick cables.
- Wash and prepare cables according to company standards
- Remove labels or stickers from cables as needed
- Move, organize, and handle materials safely throughout the work area
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned
- Work is performed outdoors under a covered tent
- Three large fans are provided, but applicants should be prepared to work in hot outdoor conditions
- This position involves washing cables, so expect to get wet during the workday
- Aprons, gloves, safety glasses, and rubber boots are provided
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently; team lifting is required for items over 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout an 8-10 hour shift
- Previous general labor or industrial experience is a plus, but not required
