Dietary Supervisor

Excelcare at Newark is looking for a Dietary Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations, guide dietary staff, and ensure safe, high-quality meal service for our residents. This position plays an important role in supporting resident health, satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. Located at 4949 Ogletown Stanton Rd, Newark, DE 09713 Benefits for a Dietary Supervisor Health, Dental and Vision insurance 401k with up to 5% matching Paid time off, sick and holidays Daily pay option Employee only discounts, perks and reward programs Dietary Supervisor Responsibilities Supervise and schedule dietary staff to ensure smooth daily operations Monitor food preparation and service for quality, safety, and compliance Assist in menu planning and special dietary accommodations Conduct daily kitchen inspections and maintain sanitation standards Train new staff and provide ongoing coaching and support Maintain inventory and assist with ordering supplies Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to meet resident needs Ensure compliance with state and federal dietary regulations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare setting. Knowledge of sanitation regulations and dietary guidelines. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work weekdays and weekends as needed. ServSafe certification preferred but not required. We are an equal opportunity employer.
